Food was fantastic! The waiters however, one in particular were so rude, threw our menus on the table, and just stood in front of us with a pen and paper waiting for our order. He then spent his spare time sitting at back of terrace on his phone laughing and smoking. There was no communication at all and he made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Such a pity as our food was delicious 😋 so if u want to experience great food and rude staff, go here. I will say though that the girl on the front desk that particular day was lovely.

We were 4ppl anyone was excited with their dish. We eat 2 times of meat, pasta, octopus. Nothing special. Octopus was too salty, but perfect condition of cooking time. It was nice to chew, but cause of too much salt and red pepper taste was not the best. Worst thing was that we waited for our food 1hour 20 min. That is inappropriate. 3 dishes arrived together, last one we wait for more 10 min, it’s also the thing that in Italy is not ok. Never again. Cocktails and view was good 👍🏻

The male staff in dirty white pants were the rudest disrespectful waiters I have ever encountered. Made us feel unwelcomed , and tried to make our evening one of the worst I have had in Italy . They virtually threw our cutlery on the table . Never smiled never asked if we enjoyed the food . They sat on their phones talking at the other end of the restaurant smoking , which I have never experienced in my life . If it was not for the out standing food I ate , I would say stay away from this restaurant just because of these staff members but the female staff made up for these rude and totally unprofessional waiters . They need to be sacked and get staff in that want to work with a smile and happy helpful manner . I have never written a review but I was so appalled by these two members of staff smoking and using their phone whilst they were supposed to be looking after their customers . Appalled customer

On a Sunday night without a reservation we got a table for 2 on the roof terrasse with this magnificent view. The waiters are very friendly and helpful with the menu. Everything we had was fresh and very tasty. Especially the lamb cutlets and the liver terrine. As a rare treat they serve pane toscano - the traditional Tuscan bread without salt. Thanks everyone for our splendid last evening at your nice place!

Yum! This was a recommendation from a friend of a friend who has been living in Florence for the last year+. He recommended getting out of the city for some beautiful views, a smaller town feel, and a tasty and (literally) elevated meal. We got there by taxi and took a walk up to the church nearby to watch the sunset. We were seated in about 15 min upon getting to the restaurant the staff were super friendly and seated us outside on the terrace. We had the truffle dish, bruschetta, and the paccheri Al pomodoro, along with a bottle of Chianti Clasico reserva. The truffle flan dish was super delicate and flavorful - it was very much an experience to eat it. The pasta was super good and bruschetta was decent. The desserts were unbelievable (mascarpone and forest fruit dish). Definitely worth the journey if you have the time to step away from Florence for a few hours.

The food is great and the place is amazing with a breathtaking view of Florence, but unfortunately the service needs really to be improved. We were 5 and started with appetizers. They all arrived except for one which was just a tray of cheese and honey, that was served 10 min after all of the others. Then we ordered 3 separate portions of spinaches to eat with the meat, one portion was basically 2 portions in the same plate ( which was not communicated to us) and was given to one person whilst the other 2 portions weren’t served. We asked again and we were given just 1 additional portion of spinaches that we had to share between 2 people ( which arrived when we already had finished the meat). We also got desserts which were good, but we also had to wait quite some time for someone to come and finally take the orders. In the meantime we were smoking a cigarette and asked for an ashtray which was never given to us.
